This is an easy trail that will get your horse used to the woods. I believe it's about an 8-12 mile loop. Nothing difficult except that the trails aren't maintained well . You do have to dodge bushes and it can be very muddy in spots! |

This is really a beautiful place. You cross water in every direction. The trails are easy to challenging. If a person prefers easy they'd could just ride the chert roads and still enjoy. The area has recently had some wind damage so it may take a little while to get things cleared. There is a private campground thats just an easy ride from a trailhead. The camp owner can give directions or guide yr group if available. Camp has power, water & a barn. |

True West Campground, Stables and Mercantile in BSF, near Jamestown, TN

True West is a great campground run by a very helpful couple. We arrived with a flat tire and Shawn attempted to fix it right away. It was however unfixable. He recommended a tire shop in Jamestown. The barn and trailer sites are well kept. The trails are beautiful. The only small problem was going past some houses with dogs to get to a certain trail. Donna was our trail boss one day and we had fun. I'll definitely return. I love the area but this is one of the best campgrounds.
